Pilgrims' Bed and Breakfast - Black Truffle - Maison 1765

Easily accessible via a shortcut saving you 2.50 km at the end of the day, L'ESCALE DE VARAIRE , a stopover gîte dedicated to pilgrims with credentials or hikers on foot or by bike, is located in the house of a typical Quercy farm.

Between Cajarc (25 km) and Cahors (33 km), in the immediate vicinity of the GR® 65, 36 and 46, this room located on the 1st floor includes a bed with bed linen and towels, a shared shower room and WC, access to dry toilets and swimming pool possible in season, continental breakfast.

Pilgrims with donkeys and horses are welcome; a meadow with hay and water is available. Fee: €8 per animal

Pilgrims with dogs are welcome. We offer them either a specific room, where the owner and their dog can sleep together, or the dog sleeps outside (kennel available). As Tina, our affectionate and playful dog, and Turner, our cat, share our daily life, we only accept one dog per stay (excluding categories 1 and 2 and NAC) after prior exchange and on condition of compliance with our hygiene instructions.

To help us fight bedbugs: backpacks, suitcases, walking sticks, rain ponchos and shoes are not allowed inside.
